LITTLE RIVER QUARTER HORSES is a small training and boarding facility. We have a limited number of stables thus accepting few horses at the same time. Our outdoor arena is 45 x 70 m and provides excellent footing for reining, pleasure, trail and all other disciplines. The round pen measures 15 m in diameter and has 2 m high walls, making it ideal for starting youngsters or for schooling older horses.

We cater for your individual needs as a western rider, going from individual lessons to clinics. We can start your young horse or reschool your older horse. We can help you get started as a western riding competitor in all events although we are specialised in reining. We can also help you if you are a recreational rider to improve your horse for outdoor riding, emphasising on technique and safety on the trail.

If you wish to become a new quarter horse owner we can help you finding the perfect horse for your requirements.
We have a à la carte system for boarding horses, horses in training and horses staying on a short term basis during owners vacation. Stables are done daily. All the horses that stay with us are on a daily basis exercise in the arena or spend time on the pastures depending on the formula agreed upon.

We have been active in the western sport since the late seventies. These years of experience as a trainer, competitor, instructor, clinician and NRHA judge allow us to give you correct advice regarding training, horsemanship and strategy in the show arena.
